At Vsimple, we know the key to growth is a high-performing customer engagement team. That’s why we’re seeking a creative and energetic Director of Enterprise Business Development. The mission is to source, qualify and obtain new enterprise clients who can benefit-greatly from our workflow automation (SaaS) software, and white glove service model through consultative sales. The ideal candidate would not identify themselves as just a hunter, farmer or a closer; they’d see themselves as the perfect “unicorn” with a unique combination of skills and experience in generating accounts and partnerships from the ground up.

Objectives of this Role

  • Lead a sales business unit to identify and acquire new enterprise clients in emerging verticals.
  • Strengthen and inform Vsimples enterprise sales go to market.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and convert prospects to contracts.
  • Player/Coach: This role will require a period of “lead by example” until you present a formula with which to scale.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 10 or more years of sales or business development experience, with a history of strategic sales, opening new markets or exponentially growing existing markets.
  • Strong communication skills via phone, email and presentations in person or online.
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong desire to move up in a rapidly evolving high growth environment
  • Comfortable using cloud-based software solutions to enhance prospecting and outreach efforts
